Scene After Credits...

I'm not talking about the cool ghost pictures during the first few credits but after all the credits are through they cut to what appears to be Lake Mumbo and there is a figure standing, you can't see who it is as it is just a silhouette with lightening flashing around as well. It wasn't the "found footage" type of scene either, more of an actual cinematic look found in a regular horror movie. Kind of a cool little thing they threw in there. I loved this movie and found the very few scares in it all the more powerful due to their scarcity. The cell phone footage was just bad ass creepy. Good stuff, highly recommended.

That sucks, I didn't get to see that part.

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

I didn't find that scene very important to the story. I thought it might be the director with some cool lightning flashes behind him, kind of his signature. It didn't look like anyone we had seen, and didn't look like anything that could have been filmed during the filming of the "documentary".

What was most compelling about this film is that it never cheats. There was no scene filmed by the "documentary crew" that showed any actual ghosts. No scenes such as the brother setting up the video reflections that would have told you this wasn't a real documentary (since there's no way a film crew could have been present during those scenes, unless they were in on it).

There were some scenes of slowly moving through the house as people were being hypnotised to talk about what they were seeing, but we refreshingly did not see the exact scenes (such as the ghost girl in the chair). This could have been a real documentary.
