Did anyone else see the pregnant lady?

Now that everyone except for Ararat residents and those from surrounding districts is abusing me ... did I see that the pregnant lady (the range of hills that includes Mt Langhi Ghiran (sp?) ) seems to have either had its footage reversed, or perhaps had actually been filmed from the other side of range, rather than the Ararat side. I'm not sure on this, but from memory, it seemed to be reversed. Can a local satisfy my curiosity?

Also amusing to see the Sister's Rocks get on screen, with the boyfriend interviews. Possibly a sly reminder to Stawell folk that if you're intent on finding an Ararat girl to root, don't expect to be the only one rooting her.

what the *beep* are you talking about?

He's talking about geography. The mountains on the Ararat skyline resemble a pregnant lady, and he seems to think (from memory) that the footage is reversed.

I'm not from Ararat, and haven't been there since I was tiny, but the mountains reminded me of a similar skyline in QLD between Brisbane and the Sunshine coast.

If you look at Mount Langi from the Ararat side, the "pregnant" bump will be on the left hand side. Used to be able to see it from my house when I lived in Ararat. Everyone in town refers to it as the pregnant mountain.

The "Sister Rocks" is in reference to a sign that points to bunch of largish rocks, on the main road to Ararat from Stawell. Someone added "Your" at the start of the sign. Like the sign, the rocks are covered in rather colourful graffiti.

Haven't seen the movie but my son was an extra. Meant to have played one of the character's kids but he wasn't credited.

Hope this helped!
