I understand it was supposed to be a "twist" when we find out that the brother doctored half the images of Alice.

But was that really necessary? It completely took me out of the film, and even though there really was the ghost of Alice in various shots, it was more of a "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" scenario for me. Which images are real, which one's aren't, etc.

I think the movie would have been a lot creepier if that whole plot twist was just left out.

100% Agree. That "Twist" made me question the legitimacy of all the supernatural occurrences that followed, which completely took me out of the movie.

i liked it. it is one of the elements that separates this from many other found footage films.
