The poster is now up and I have to say, it's amateurish to say the least.
Like a bad painting really. I hope they get a better one.

I don't think it's that bad. Don't you think It has a decent B-movie vibe about it?
What is it that you think is so bad about it?

I think it looks great. Totally a throwback to 80's horror movie posters. Which I think is exactly what they were going for so, cheers to that!

Gotta say I love the poster. I can’t see what’s “amateurish” about it at all, I’d say it has an independent quality, and that’s good because this movie is….well…..independent.

As someone else mentioned, care explaining what is so amateur about it? Maybe amateur like your website? Just saying.
