Vancouver prescreening ( spoilers )

I just got back from the Vancouver prescreening. Wow! Congrats to the boys at Brookstreet Pictures and of course the whole crew who worked on this. Its sure to earn some awards.

The audience was laughing the whole time. The story was tight. You had me guessing how this was going to end, and I loved how you resolved the story. Great writing although I felt his girlfriends story was left a bit hanging in midair like it could have used more closure.

I haven't had this much fun at a horror flick since Shawn of the Dead. It had great " tone " and it felt like the filmmakers and crew really put some love into this film.

FX and Stuntwise ... wow you guys were really throwing some bodies around eh? Brilliant! My expectations were a bit low when I thought of a production coming out of Ottawa but damn there there were so many great moments and the pace they kept coming was awesome.

I'm not a film critic or anything like that but I like to go to the theatre to be entertained and this film did not disapoint.
