They Live

Pretty much any movie that features some bad-ass hero taking on the forces of evil. Usually some every-man type of hero, a put upon schlub who just does the right thing because no one else is able to.

Pick up anything with Bruce Campbell.

Someone on this board mentioned "Hatchet," I agree. Definitely see "My Name is Bruce," as this film is much funnier than "Monster Slayer."

i know they are old but the 1986 HOUSE movies were very like this,especially number 2.
