Not as bad as people are saying.

This was a welcome installment from the 8films to die for series. Actually liked one of them for once. A couple others were meh ok. But really enjoyed this one. Alot of people are tired of all these hardcore gore porn movies. Im not. If u like hills have eyez, wrong turn, texas chainsaw, hostel, 1000corpses(which is a mash up itself. Rob Zombies ode to 70's slashers), devils rejects then u have a good shot at enjoying this. Its brutal and intense. I enjoy alot horror remakes for the most part.... Like the new evil dead. Replaced all the campy and dark humor with rawness and intensity. I Like the original just fine and sure it had no bruce campbell but x10 as graphic, extreme and creepy and intense. This isnt a remake or anything but similar in its brutal intensity. This plays like a mash up of all those movies(excluding evil dead). Thats how i perceived it as. So saying its unoriginal and all isnt really fair to it. Nothing wrong with these new gore movies and remakes with better film quality, make up, special effects. Respectfully to the originals but there i said it. Most are quite boring by todays standards. And its not like the "originals" were very original to begin with. Ya maybe tcm(the first one). But they all put on a mask and kill people. Dont go see a horror movie like this and expect to have your mind blown with originality. Cause u might just be a tw@t doomed to a life of disappointment. On a sidenote... I wouldnt walk down a street and expect a homeless guy to give me change and be disappointed when he didnt. About as silly as being disappointed and expecting a horror movie to be original. The movie was still a nice walk though.
