I am French and just to let you know the subtitles are a lot of the time totally off.
I watched the movie on a website called solarmovie and when i say off i mean sometimes completely different from what the actors are saying.
Shame because people not understanding French are going to lose a lot of the meaning in certain parts of the film.
Those subs are I believe fan-translated, although the official DVD does have some embarrassments and some obvious errors, and I don't even speak French.
The one on VUDU right now has better subtitles from what I've watched of it.
I don't know enough French to watch the film without subtitles, but I understand it well enough to know that some of the subtitles were definitely wrong. Thanks for pointing this out because I was curious about someone's opinion who spoke French fluently

shareMy wife and I were watching it with English subs (neither of us speak a word of French) and we were laughing at how poorly translated the dialogue was into text. I think I'll buy the DVD and see if the subs on it are any better than the copy I downloaded. It made it almost unwatchable.
