I caught this film at the Victoria Film Festival and I loved it! Its very funny. I'm glad its a independent, a big studio would have
taken all the charm out for sure. It was voted "Audience Favourite" for
festival. Which is no surprise, because there were a lot of times where
the whole theater was laughing out loud. A touch of romance, sweetness, sports,
and a lot of laughs. Good for old and young alike, I recommend this
film.

Yup, I thoroughly enjoyed 'The hammer', v funny, and didn't feel 'twee' like a lot of these kind of 'underdog' films, first time I'd seen Mr Carolla in anything too (in uk, so not seen him on mainstream tv) delivered some quality deadpan funnies, and looked like he knew his way around a skipping rope. Good film.
shareI almost sent this back to netflicks w/o watching it. I'm glad I didn't. BRAVO!ACE MAN. This is a good little flick. Adam takes what he knows and tells a great story with it.
