Need help from people who lived in Bangkok.

I’ve read several posts of guys here who lived in Bangkok for some time.

I would like to know from your experiences how well the actual life in Bangkok is portrayed in this film. I haven’t seen it yet, I’m aware that it didn’t get favorable reviews, but I would still watch it if it gives a somewhat accurate understanding of the city.

Additionally, I would like to know under which circumstances you lived there. Did you find a job, are you retired there or just had long vacations?

I live in Bangkok, im from England and work for UK company that have offices in Bangkok.

The bangkok you see here is pretty spot on, although for a couple of things. No way would Mr cage be able to follow a chap on a moto in a car. the traffic here is crazy, like nothing i have ever seen. All the motos duck and weave through the traffic, in a car you have no chance! Also i doubt he would be able to wear full leathers, he would melt in seconds. its the cold season here now, and its still 28 at night.Also i doubt Mr cage would be able to figure out his way driving around the city so quick, its a maze of roads and small lanes (sois).

Can you imagine the chase scenes if they were based on reality; 2 hours to go half a mile, lol.
