Well, mine would have to be their last scene together in the final episode. Heartbreaking!!! Scot Williams is such a great actor. You could really feel his torment. The mixture of relief and sadness on his face when he heard Iris was staying. I wonder if they do commission another series, that Father Melia would return. Would it be too much temptation for him???

If anyone has a link to a photo of Scot as Father Melia, I would be delighted... but then I was in love with Father Ralph from The Thorn Birds since I was a little girl!!
