What a remarkable scene-stealer the little Jack Russell was in every scene she appears. I had more enjoyment watching the dog's reactions and poses with Lily and Gerda. They say actors should never work with animals and children and in The Danish Girl little Pixie brightened every shot that she appeared.

i watched the video that danloki provided.

so the dog was mute, that explains why he (it) was so calm, so silencious.

Que? Where did the owner say Pixie is mute? She said she cant talk when they're shooting so she has to use hand signals only.

Best actor in the movie. I couldn't wait to see more of her. My eye was instantly drawn to her with every scene she was in.

Agreed. The dog should have been nominated for a supporting role.
