Money

I don't know if this has been discussed, but how does the gang" get their money? They take on all these hard luck cases and you never see any clients paying up. With all the C- 4,ammunition, and everything that goes with living in Miami. Especially Sam's $18.00 cocktails. Lol

The topic has been discussed here before.

Sam smooches lots of cash and gifts from his lady friends, Fi does bounty hunter work, Jesse has a legit job.

Plus some of the clients paid off screen I'm sure. But it does seem to be pretty expensive lifestyle without steady cash flow.

Sam also had his pension. And I thought Fiona was basically a weapons dealer as well as being a bounty hunter.

I think the jobs that did pay paid well, so they were able to make the money last.

A few jobs had huge payoffs. In s3ep14 Partners in Crime (2010), the owner of the fashion house paid $30,000 for the investigation. There were many other times when jobs paid several grand for a few days of work, or often money was laying around after a job was done.

As others have stated, Sam had a healthy pension and was a playboy, and Fiona was a successful gunrunner.

exactly, and the first season with the money smugglers/dirty cops had them take a BUNCH. Michael only gave a little to each Sam and Virgil (Season one Episode 6 "Unpaid Debts").

we also do not know how much they were paid for the season 2 episode 9 Good Soldier"...
and they did more "jobs" than we saw too i am sure.

the girl in Episode 12 (season 2) Seek and Destroy, we again do not know how much she paid
them.

and Adam Scott sent money just for "hearing him out" and it looked like quite a lot.....

and we also know that Michael borrowed from Fiona...lol

I am only on season 2 but almost every single hard luck case he works he always takes some of the money "fox expenses" before giving back the original payment. For the case that are not hard luck, they pay very well. Considering Micheal pays only $200 a month for rent and only eats yogurt, they have plenty of money. They make their own C4 from common grocery store items and black-market guns and ammo are cheap when your girlfriend is an arms dealer.
