anyone know if the following are 'tributes' to other series?

in S2, Ep. 4, "Comrades," there are Russian sisters, Kayta & Elena, is that a reference to Alias?

in S2, Ep. 13, "Bad Breaks," Mike says, "...get some leverage," could that be a nod to the actor playing Prescott, who had a recurring role on Leverage?

in S3, Ep. 4, "Fearless Leader," the bit with the Greyhound, is that a reference to The Simpsons' Santa's Little Helper?

these aren't noted on their pages on here, just wondering if anyone had heard it for sure from the producers, one way or the other?

i don't know..i never thought about it. i would have to check that out though.

i never heard Nix or Donovan say, i do know there were nods to Cagney and Lacey, in fact using those very aliases for Sam and Fiona in one episode in season one, and then having Tyne Daly as a guest star when she, along with Gless, played Cagney and Lacey...

but i don't know about the rest....
