Blu-Ray?

I'm new to this board, so if this has already been discussed, please forgive me:

I just saw this film and loved it. I'd like to buy it on Blu-Ray, but apparently it's on DVD, but not on Blu-Ray yet? Anyone know when (if ever) it will be released on Blu-Ray?

reply

I would like to know this as well. I have looked EVERYWHERE for information on a Blu-Ray and I still haven't found any plans for one to be released.

I just bought a player 2 weeks ago, and the only film that's been recently released that I want to buy is this one, and it's only on DVD. (that's my luck, haha)

I will still do some searching though.

It's a bit of a mystery. When the release was first announced it was as a DVD and a Blu-Ray. But within hours the Blu-Ray announcement was withdrawn. I don't know why, but having received my USA DVD and after reading comments about the Canadian release, it is obvious this was assembled hastily and with no investment. There's no commentary and only one deleted scene. The Canadian release has an inexplicable dubbed line that doesn't appear anywhere else. I am, frankly, flabbergasted.

"I'd never ask you to trust me. It's the cry of a guilty soul."

As the previous poster stated, this is getting a release on blu ray in Australia and New Zealand on June 16th. Isn't the UK and Europe part of region 2 as well as Australia/New Zealand? There are only 3 regions, unlike dvd. So there's no reason why you can't order it from downunder if you don't want to order the French version.

French Blu-ray version comes with optional French subtitles. A/V quality is outstanding. Also see:
