I didn't expect to like this movie at all and even had some unexplained hostility toward the lead actress before watching it. But I saw a few stills from the movie and they looked gorgeous. So I thought "why not check it out?"
I was floored. This movie is like a love poem, filled with passionate moments and quiet subtle beauty. Abbie Cornish has now me as one of her fans. Cannot recommend this movie enough if one has the patience and the willingness to be taken away.
