keat's death
When in Rome two years ago my husband and I made a point of visiting the house where Keats died. It is right next to the famous Spanish Steps, so is pretty easy to find. The actual furniture had to be burned at his death, because of laws about tuberculosis, but it is furnished with period pieces. They had there many letters and other sources telling about Keats' last years, including the importance of his friendship with the Braun family.
You can see a terrific website of the place at http://www.keats-shelley-house.org/ take a virtual tour, and find lots of information about Keats and his era.
