We Need To Talk About Kevin *** (spoilers) ***

To me, that film was a variation on the same theme Joshua presented. However, they took it further, showing what happens to kids with some type of disorder (sociopathy/psychopathy?) as Joshua and Kevin -- could we include Omen's Damien? First I thought the Egyptian thing would lead to some demon/possession resolution but later it seems to be left open to the viewer.
I also believe there were hints of sexual or physical abuse (in school or by that uncle).

Any thoughts?

We Need to Talk About Kevin is the least informed, most unrealistic movie dealing with a disturbed child (and American culture) you'll ever see. Let's not compare complete garbage and mere junk.

As fiction, I like it.

I saw exactly zero evidence or clues about anything regarding the uncle. I do think he was a pawn for Joshua...hence, the whispering to Kevin at the funeral. Joshua simply is adept at manipulating his environment to achieve whatever sick result he is seeking. He will go from adult to adult until somebody stops him or he is killed.
