Why not IMMEDIATELY show the tape to a child psychiatrist?

And seriously, who, once they are being accused of abuse, doesn't immediately show the tape to someone.

Further, they don't even treat Joshua with any warmth. It's all going through the motions. No wonder he's a bizzaro.

I got the impression the father was in denial and then felt he could fix it. Many parents don’t want to admit something is wrong with their child

The father is clearly NOT in denial as he calls in the child psychologist. Why he didn’t show her the tape before she came to see Joshua though is beyond me.
