Is There any other book about Robert Langdon?

I really liked these two. It would be nice for them to finish off with a trilogy.

Don't like what I'm saying? Then call 1800-Ima-CryBaby

Dan Brown has granted your wish... the third book is called "The Lost Symbol" and has been out for awhile now. I haven't read it, but apparently it's... more of the same. So if you loved the previous stuff, chances are you'll enjoy that too, I imagine.

Well, there's a third book involving Langdon - The Lost Symbol - and it's already in pre-production for a movie version. (Same director, same actor, same screenwriter.)

And I believe Dan Brown has said that there will be more Robert Langdon books in the future, so it's going to be more than just a trilogy.

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.

I highly recommend The Lost Symbol, it is my favorite of the trilogy. It is the same structure as the last 2 books, (why change something if it's almost perfect?) but it takes it all to the next level, farther than it has gone before. I would also recommend Browns other novels, Deception Point and Digital Fortress, they are both also great reads, but perhaps not as good as the Langdon trilogy.

I`d like very much to read " Lost Symbol " ! However before I do , does Brown atleast clarify that very few Masons are like The Novel`s Villain ?

reply

The novel shows a very high level of respect for Masonry. It goes into very great detail about debunking myths that give it a bad name and it completely makes it clear that the villain is nothing close to what a Mason is supposed to be.
Brown goes out of his way in The Lost Symbol to give Masons a good name, I didn't know anything about them before I read this book and now after reading it twice what I do know I have a great deal of respect for.

Does it make all Masons out to be villians? No more so than Angels & Demons makes all priests out to be villians.

Although the Lost Symbol is a good read, it is my least favourite. The first 2 had some nice twists.
Sophie being the great-great-great-grand daughter of Jesus, the Camerlengo being son of the pope and simulating an attack from the Illuminati
The twist in the Lost Symbol I figured out in the first chapter.

Still a good read (for in between more 'heavier' books) and can't wait for the movie.

I like his non-Langdon books as well, especially Deception point. Also with a nice twist.
