How does it link from The Da Vinci Code?

I don't think this has any link to The Da Vinci Code..the only common thing between them is Robert Langdon's uncanny ability to solve the clues.
shareIn the timeline of the books, Angels and Demons actually came first so technically there is no link between the two, but obviously The Da Vinci Code was made into a film first so they linked it by making references to Langdons 'previous entanglement with the Catholic church' i.e. his involvement with the Priory of Sion. So yeah, they are linked but only vaguely.
