The Da Vinci Code was much better

I thought this was better.
just for the storyline and the special effects at the end, didn't you like how the sky looked after the helicopter exploded?
Imho!
I solemnly swear I am up to no good!
Ya I liked the action and the effects but just kinda felt it was a bit drawn out, predictable, and not as compelling as The Da Vinci Code.

I though this was better, too.
I did not read the books. This is strictly movie to movie comparison.
This movie had more action, moved at a much faster face, and wasn't nearly as talky as the DaVinci Code.
sharePlease. I found this movie to be much better. I actually read the Da Vinci Code, loved the book and disliked the movie. I never read Angels & Demons but based on this movie I'm sure the book was awesome.
shareI liked both, but I have to say I think "Angels and Demons" was much better.
"Speak of the Devil, and He shall appear."
Da Vinci Code took me a long time to appreciate.
Hated it on its release, but then went years without acknowledging it, but it has actually got better with time.
A&D I enjoyed upon its release, though has not aged as well as DVC in my opinion, but will happily watch it when it is on tv.
No feelings for this movie!!!!
"Peace and love"
I thought they were on the same level (6/10).
shareComparing the books, I like Da Vinci Code (book) more than Angels & Demons (book). But comparing the movies, I prefer Angels & Demons (8/10) to Da Vinci Code (7/10). I stopped comparing books and movies long ago and started to treat them independently (disliking a great scene just because it isn't the same as in the books is totally unacceptable for me), but I think trimming A&D books actually helped making movie more entertaining and fast-paced. TDC was pretty much the same as in the books and it really dragged at some points. On the other hand, A&D was an enjoyable movie despite all the changes. Among my favorite changes was succesful rescue of cardinal Baggia. Apart from that, I also liked omission of Langdon/Vetra romantic relationship and Langdon actually staying on the ground during antimater explosion, resulting in Camerlango and the explosion itself getting more attention from viewers.
shareFor me 'The Da Vinci Code' was better. There was the supernatural angle that this lacked; I prefer escapism in a movie. There are too many terrorist incidents in reality.
I could be a morning person if morning happened at noon.
