What other conspiracy thriller books would you like seeing film adapted?

Irrespective whether you loved, or have disliked the 3 Dan Brown films made so far, what other conspiracy action thriller fiction book/s, would you love seeing get film adapted, or TV mini-series adapted (if anything mentioned would need more time).

Please elaborate on what the story is about and why you admire it.

The Assassini or The Windchill Factor by Thomas Gifford. Both are excellent even if they might need some updating since they've been around for awhile.
