This film is a shame to the first three films.

I saw American pie 2 first (in 2002). And I loved it. Then I saw American Pie-1, in 2006 and It was awesome. And number 3 (The Wedding, is not as good but still very, very good!)

In 2006 I saw American Pie 4 (Band Camp) And it is not nearly as good as the first three but it's O.K. to watch for one time, not again! When I heard about number 5. I began to think that it would never be as good as the first three where they had the same cast. Number 5 is "The Naked Mile" And it has to be the stupidest film yet. By itself it is alright for one time but if I compare it to the others it will not even get close. I shiver by the thought of seeing it again! Well, sure enough, they made American pie 6 (Beta house) I have not seen it yet and I (to be very frank) am not very keen on seeing it.

I respect your opinion, but in my view, i think naked mile is in my top favorites of the American Pie series. To me it's:

American Pie
American Pie Presents The Naked Mile
American Pie Presents Beta House
American Pie 2
American Wedding
American Pie Presents Band Camp

I have "American Pie Presents The Book of Love", i just haven't watched it yet, but everyone has different tastes in movies and comedies. I have a variety of taste, where as i love nonsense comedy, which what this movie was.

There is nothing wrong with the naked mile it is just as good as all the others

I agree with you on this. The American Pie franchise runs in the order it was made. American Pie was just hilarious, American Pie 2 was just pure hilarity and American Pie 3 was a fitting end to the characters even though Chris Klein wasn't even in the movie. American Pie presents Band Camp and The Naked Mile just ruined whatever good name American Pie had. Although they were funny, the characters were just not as likeable nor were they as original. I stopped watching the series after these and it was lucky I caught this movie. Maybe if they put a new name to the movies rather than American Pie presents then maybe it would have received more than it did in appreciation to the original films. Just my two cents towards this movie and the films that preceded in the franchise.
