Telling Other Countries

I'm starting this show over again (It's on Netflix and I never finished watching it on tv) and there has always been something that niggled at me, especially now that they are starting a second version of this show.

Do you think that they had the obligation to let other countries in on this secret? The anomalies are a pretty big deal with all of the dangerous creatures that can come through and the way the past and present of the entire world can be changed. You would think they would let other countries in on it even if only to protect themselves and the way things could be changed. Or at least I would think that.

Ha! it goes beyond "keeping it a government secret"... I mean there are dozens of people getting chomped regularly, a mammoth stomping down a busy highway... the secret IS out, to a point at least, in the general sense. Also, the anomalies are based in England... you know... colonial centre of the modern world :) It's the British way. But given the obviousness of these critters, the media would most certainly be all over it, it would 'not' be a secret :)
That is the single most annoying plothole in this series... but it was still fun.

***So I've seen 4 movies/wk in theatre for a 1/4 century, call me crazy?**
