Series 1 and 2

I used to watch this show when it was airing, never miss and episode, and now that it's (most likely) gone forever I took the time to watch series 1 and 2 on DVD, and my god, those two series, especially 1, blew the rest of the series out of the water. Everything about series 1 was perfect, the tie in between episode 1 and episode 6 where Cutter realizes the camp was theirs was really clever writing. Whoever designed the Future Predator also deserves an award because I have never seen something so realistic, but absolutely terrifying at the same time. And then we got series 2 with a really powerful opening episode, that scene at the end of 2.1 where Nick is prepared to abandon everything to try to make things right before Stephen persuades him it's suicide, that whole scene was very powerful, largely because of the soundtrack and dialogue carrying the scene. Christ, I could go on and on about how series 1 and 2 is so good, but I'm gonna conclude there.
