Hmmm, I liked them all a whole lot but....maybe Danny? I liked what he added to the mix.

I personally liked both Nick and Matt.

Danny wasn't bad and honestly, I missed the start of the series so saw him before Nick. But after seeing it from the beginning I liked Nick better. And Matt, well, he's just personally favored because he was so damn good looking.

Minds are like books, they only function when open.

I am also liking all three of them and Danny probably the most - I loved how he charged in with his "I am a going to join you - whether you like it or not" ;)

Indeed, the least realistic, but the most fun. In real life, the military would probably have simply dumped his ass jail for all the trespassing, theft and misbehaving.

I can't choose a favorite! They each added something necessary to the team. Though I did feel that with Nick in charge there was a little too much unpreparedness to deal with whatever came through the anomaly. Danny seemed to take charge and have more of a plan sometimes. Matt was definitely the best at planning for what would come with, especially with the development of the EMD, but then he was from the future, so he had an advantage with that I think. I actually wish they could all have been working together-Nick and Connor doing their science-y things, Danny and Matt in the field catching critters. Then maybe there wouldn't have been a Philip!

I think Cutter was the best, by far. I like Matt, but not Danny so much.

Nick most then Danny. Matt not by any means. I just don't buy him as a leader and to me, he has no on-screen presence whatsoever. I'm surprised I seem to be the only one feeling this way.

I totally agree with you about Matt! He was okay, but like Phillip said "Matt's a soldier, a grunt". My favorite is Nick. He was the perfect mix of scholar and action man. Matt is not dumb by any means, but he's not an intellectual match for Nick. Which I think explains your statement about having no on-screen presence. I think Ciaran does his best with the role but I feel like the writers didn't develop the character very well. We just don't buy that he's right for the job.

The obvious order really has to be
1 - Nick - he just seemed clever enough and authoritative enough and a good father figure for Connor, kind of a natural leader.
2 - Danny - interesting addition, charismatic and funny, great contrast to Nick, shame about the delay in the next series forcing him to move on.
3 - Matt - just too bland and never really got the chance to fully develop the character before cancellation

Danny was annoying. A get up and do something character, but more like "get out of my way I'm doing this, I'm the man" sort of attitude

Just watching the series on Netflix over the last month I've been thinking about who I've liked.

Cutter was my favorite with an old school quirky charm. The tough part is that the series was pretty straight forward for his time on the show. He was my top leader, but the show was so so during his time.

Danny for me was a train wreck. It felt like the season was written for Cutter and he left them without enough time to rewrite it. Danny felt shoe horned in and one dimensional. He tended to do the exact same thing every episode...barge straight in at the last moment putting himself between X creature and Y team member to save the day. That season was the low point for me.

Matt we my second best leader, but the shows writing was far better in the last two seasons. Finally the characters had some depth to their season and the team had real story lines that broke up the rinse and repeat creature capture of the early seasons. I almost gave up after season 3, and then loved season 4 and 5 the most.

My vote goes to Cutter,too....maybe it will change when i finish the last 3 episodes....actually i like almost everyone involved,except for Burton(his plan including the animals was just messed up)

Trolls dont have an opinion....just an urge to compensate their frustration about themselves!!!
