We sure miss Rex the Wonder Lizard

shareHave you tried Warehouse 13? It doesn't have the animal-centric focus of Primeval, & definitely has more humor & quirkiness, but it's one of my all-time fave shows.
It's about a secret (US) government agency (of course) that has been collecting, researching & warehousing all sorts of powerful devices down thru history...like things from EA Poe's writing implements to Egyptian doodads to...good grief, there were so many cool things they come up with I can't even remember particulars. But the plots are nearly always cleverly knit with the devices & their powers, the characters are very engaging, & the whole thing is done with fun woven thru the excitement.
