Jericho Won the Hitfix's Uncanceled Showdown

"After three weeks of voting, which saw over 900,000 votes cast, "Jericho" had no trouble conquering "Almost Human" in the final round and claiming our [HitFix] crown."
http://www.hitfix.com/the-fien-print/jericho-wins-hitfixs-first-uncanc eledshowdown

Not only did Jericho win, but Jericho defeated Firefly in the quarterfinals. One of the earlier articles had this quote in it: "Mark yesterday [8/21] as a historic day, Jericho is no longer a minor player in the cult show arena. It beat the King [Firefly]. It's becoming a major player. Jericho is rising again."

I truly believe that the resurgence of the post-apocalyptic shows/movies and Netflix suggesting Jericho, to viewers of the other shows, has made Jericho much more popular. CBS is aware of this and is working with Netflix to bring the show back. Unfortunately, we do not have a timeline of when that will happen.

Thanks to ALL THE RANGERS, who voted during the three week Uncanceled Showdown, it is your dedication that gave Jericho this historic win!

Gwen

California Rangers - Trip to the Nike Missile Museum (SF-88)
We are going to visit the ONLY restored Nike Missile site left from the cold war.

During the tense years from 1953 to 1979, the United States Army built and
operated close to 300 Nike missile firing batteries in the United States. These
missile sites were the last line of defense against Soviet bombers.

SF-88 is located in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, which is just north of San Francisco.

We have not set a date for the trip. If you are interested in going, please e-mail [email protected]

Ill never give up on this show either. Soo much lost potential, more so than any other show that didn't get the proper run/ending it deserved. I'm talking like Deadwood quality shows. I feel Jericho was the biggest mistake out of any of the popular but still cancelled shows.

If Netflix could get ahold of the rights that would be fantastic. A regular cable network like CBS should not be in charge they ruined it the first time. Plus there are so many less restrictions on Netflix than CBS. They could cut most of that sappy bs that took over too much story time because CBS execs force their writers to cater to certain audiences. Plus all the normal cursing and violence regulations that a company like Netflix wouldn't have to deal with.
