Did Robert lie about the fall out?
Okay, I do need to stress that while I may be former military, I am still NOT a nuclear expert by any means, so if I'm thinking in the wrong context of 'fallout', I apologize.
When Jake was learning about Robert's purpose for being in Jericho, he said it was "Outside the fallout zones".
Yet, he acted on the notion that fallout WAS approaching Jericho from Denver. I'm wondering if I'm thinking the use of 'fallout' is incorrect in what I think it is, or did he lie intentionally? I mean, with how secretive and cautious he is, I wouldn't rule it past him to say that lie to get everyone out of the open for him to hide the nuclear bomb he had. Only reason that confuses me is the Hazmat suit; If he knew there was no fallout, why would he use it? Only explanation I can think of is if anyone saw him, they wouldn't recognize him due to the Hazmat suit. And probably to save face, if he got caught (someone seeing him after the rain stopped), it'd be even more confusing why he wasn't wearing the suit, despite telling the townspeople that fallout could kill someone from direct exposure, as opposed to being caught in it.
If this has been brought up, I apologize -- This is just something I have been meaning to post on here for awhile. Wanting either opinions on the matter on what other people take it as, or if I'm thinking 'fallout' in the wrong context.
