End unfinished
shareReboot it and make a decent show from the premise. Jericho had a bunch of annoying flaws, but what really killed it were the lame attempts to spice it up when it was about to be cancelled. There is no way of making something remotely good from that wreckage.
shareIt ended finished in my eyes but they did a season 3 and 4 through comic books it's called civil war, they were good.

shareThey shot two endings for the (very short) second season, one that left it wide open for a third season, and another one that sort of tied up loose ends but did not preclude telling more of the story.
When the ratings for the second season were below average, the ending with some closure was aired. Both endings are available on the second-season DVD set.
I'd love to see more "Jericho," but it's been over seven years since the show was cancelled the second time. Eventually, you have to move on. I enjoyed the graphic novels, though.

I just started watching show for first time. The plot is good but i must say i can see why it was canceled. The writting is sub par and bland as u find on any crappy show.
Im not saying its a bad show but has a lot of problems that would be hard to keep in on a major network.
If it woulda been on syfy channel i think it would have lasted.
They aired the ending with closure??? The ending I remember was at the end of the very last episode Jericho was just about to go to war with the other town.. Can't remember the name of the other town...

shareThe episode you described was the final episode of season 1 (episode 22), have a look on cartoon HD or put locker etc, there are another 7 episodes after the one you saw.

shareOK, we were both right.... LOL When I said Jericho going to war with the other town the other town I was referring to was Cheyenne. I said Jericho because of Jake and Hawkins being the ones who instigated the new war and Jericho being their base but Texas was the actual town that was going to war with Cheyenne....
