Who the hell wrote the newspaper articles for this????

Good lord, all they did was change the headline and the date of each newspaper article. The story under under each headline was exactly the same for every article. And on top of that, it talks about the subway and bikini clad babes and suntan hunks. Not something that was around in 1895. The underground Subway didn't open in New York City until 10 years later and 1905. There would also be a word here and there missing. Jesus couldn't they have been a little more careful with this stuff, or was it purposely done like this as a joke????

It's part of the fun to read newspaper articles in movies. Most of them have absolutely nothing to do with the headline.

Yes, true, and I understand what you're saying. But this particular story was specifically about the killer and the bodies going missing and things like that. It was a story written about what was going on. And about the butcher being the suspect and all that stuff. But this other stuff that they added in about bikini-clad babes and tan muscular hunks and the subway didn't exist then. They should have put the date as 1905 instead of 1895. Just odd.
