Why was mahagony so powerful
Did the creatures give him powers. He was basically the terminator.

shareThe only thing I can think of is the guy was built like a freight train. Except for the beret guy, his victims were women or guys who were a lot smaller than he was. Plus his occupation of butcher would make him strong as is it a very labor intensive job.
shareI wondered the same thing, and I do think he was empowered by them. He almost lost his battle with The Guadian Angel dude on the train because he was losing his abilities. The Driver did mention his disappointment in him and made it clear that he needed to be replaced.
share The Driver had some abilities of his own. He lifted Leon up like a rag doll and threw him about 20 feet.
I'm pretty sure they did have power. That's why Leon started eating meat and acting animalistic, I interpreted it as he was slowly unknowingly transforming into the role. By seeing what he saw being done by Mahogany, seeking it out, and witnessing it all, he opened himself up to it.
Or they were just trained really well:)
i asked a similar question was mahogany ageless and if so why? On some tv show i think it was SUPER NATURAL there was an episode about WENDIGOs which are normal people who become super strong and long lived because they engaged in canablism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wendigo
maybe mahogany was a Wendigo.
Dude that guy is built like a tank. He was also in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch and in both movies nobody wanted to F with him. He just looks like a guy that could seriously F you up and you can tell that's a lot of muscle.
shareThe creatures were the one's that gave him his strength and agelessness but after so long the power started to burn him out. The growths on his chest were a symptom of their blessing starting to break down his body.
shareYes the creatures give him power, but the more he gets older the more he loose his power.
