A Real film
I just watched the film on DVD and thought what a lovely, sweet, gentle, beautiful film it was.Although it seems quite slow in parts that is because it is a Real film, one that you have to concentrate on and become absorbed in to really appreciate. It is not a film about a guy with a sex doll, it is about a guy with a mental illness and how the doll, his family, and the whole town, surround him with their love to the extent that he eventually starts to overcome it.
I loved the film and don't mind admitting that there was a little moisture in the corner of my eye at the end. I think that people who dismiss the film as boring are truly missing something and, dare I say it, there is perhaps something missing from their lives.
However, as I have said before, my opinion is only relevent to me and everyone else's is equally valid to them, but ONLY to them.
