This movie reminded me a little of the film Harvey, obviously it's different but I thought there were a lot of similarities with the imaginary friend being ultimately accepted...

i would think if you found harvey an amusing story you would liek this as well if you couldn't even deal with harvey you wouldn't want to watch this either...but i would say that had differrent stories attached to them...

I thought the exact same thing, Harvey is one of my favorite films and this one is getting there as well, the basis of the story is similar and both performances (James Stewart's and Ryan Gosling's) are among the best pieces of acting I've ever seen in my life.
