So when did you realize you were an adult...

I felt it was a very powerful moment in the film when hes discussing this with his brother.
It gave me the idea to ask around family and friends in search of some interesting conversations.
Any thoughts?

Agreed. It's a question I never would have thought to ask someone, and it's so thought-provoking. Definitely going to ask a family member this question in the future!

I do agree too. That question means you're kind of growing somehow,as to become an adult,or say as to overcome some old trauma (like Lars with his mother's death) Probably the pregnancy of her sister in law started all this mess, and surely Bianca arrived as an instrument to mend things for lars, and also helped his brother in assuming his bad attitudes with Lars in the past, and also Bianca helped a whole community in becoming solidary and understanding,,

It was a very powerful moment, and a question I still ask myself...and I have a child! Of course that was the defining moment in my life, but I think we are all children until we die, and we are parents when we are born.

This was an amazing film - strange, beautiful, hopeful and sad. I loved every frame.
