Suprised at how badly acted this film was. Reese Witherspoon, an actress I usually enjoy clearly struggled with this role. She seemed stilted and her yelling scenes were a bit cringeworthy. Meryl Streep was as usual wonderful in a small role.

I thought she was alright. Held her own. Meryl Streep tho, anyone fades in comparison to her. I liked that Peter sarsgard to and Alan Arkin. Definitely held her own within the midst of an ensemble gathering.......
Why do people have to use long pompous clever words........ so as to feel pompous clever and long? Does it work? I'm not sure as I'm a short guy. why can't the world just speak in Laymans terms, basic English, that's what we gave you people, then maybe us less educated people could join in the fun,
