Relative Locations of Scenes?

Did all of this take place in one city? What were the relative locations of:

(1) The Hume's house
(2) Hume's Office
(3) the inner city area?

Earlier in the film, they were looking to get back to the freeway; I initially assumed that they were in a different city.

Also, what is the (supposed) location/city that this is set in?

I'm not sure what it was supposed to be, but the majority of it was shot in Columbia, South Carolina.
