survived again? Getting shot in the neck is a pretty severe injury, I assumed he was bleeding out, but the woman cop got there in time?

My take is that he died at the end. Regardless of theatrical vs unrated version, the way the video at the end was seen through his eyes says it all.

The "women cop" apparently didn't give a crap about getting him any help ^^

No she didn't, all she could do throughout the entire movie was scold him, she showed no concern for his or his family's safety. She didn't even move his family to another location, she didn't help at all. If this happened to me IRL I'd tried to get her thrown off the force.

Yes indeed. :) Actually she was so lacking in any empathy that I actually think her role was badly underwritten.

Very violent film but passed the time well. Nice to see John Goodman as a real nasty.
