In a deleted scene, Lothar and Garona have $ex LOL

You guys don't believe me? When Lothar is crying in Goldshire holding his Mug, then Garona arrives after being teleported by Medivh. Here are the same things as the film AND the differences: After Lothar gets off laying on the Table, he throws the Mug to the wall and it shatters. "He was so young." *Garona cuddles his Face. "In my entire life, I have never felt as much pain as I do now...And still, I want more." Garona: "You want me to hurt you." Lothar shakes his head a little, meaning yes. Garona punches his face then his chest. Tries again but Lothar stops her and blocks her then lays her on the Table putting her legs around his waist. Then they make out and are about to have sex. Lol if you don't believe me then it's cool.

Yes, some people have uploaded the deleted scenes on Youtube. Travis Fimmel said in an interview a while ago that there was a deleted sex scene.

There are only 14 minutes of deleted scenes on the DVD and a number of those scenes don't look completed. Looks like we really aren't going to get an extended edition after all. A pity too because it seems like they cut out a whole story arc in the beginning about Durotan trying to get his clan entered into the War band to send to Azeroth.

There are 2 deleted scenes about Durotan that, although short, are awesome. The one where he fights Dark Scar, I have no idea that got cut.

No f@cking sh`t lady does it sound like I'm ordering a pizza!

Glad they cut that out. What's more cringy than pointless romance in the movie? I know.. pointless sex. Lothar humping a half-orc who acts like horny porn star just doesn't do it for me.

reply

I just assumed the movie cut the sex scene to get a lower age rating but it was very apparent to me that they had sex.

I, for one, considered that scene quite implied by Garona's feelings and the scene we did get to see. I am glad that they didn't add it, however, because it would have added too much Hollywood fluff in a Blizzard movie.

I didn't buy the relationship at all. I just kept thinking, "you've known each other for 5 minutes!)

I understand in movie time it's over the span of probably weeks...but, still, not delivered well.

As with most movies these days, the emotional depth must be imagined. One must consider the times, the orcish mentality, Garona's past and Lothar's emotional frailty at the time. Then it all makes sense. The wooden acting and silly script certainly won't paint a decent picture.

I reject that thought. It may happen like this in most movies these days, but it's not something that should be embraced. Character development is essential to quality writing.

But quality writing is not essential for summer blockbusters like Warcraft.

I know this is an old post but I had to reply...

I knew my husband for all of 5 minutes and knew I was in love. Same for him and we have been together ever since. It was truly, love at first sight. So I can buy this happening :)

reply

I thought you were joking, lol! I'm glad it was cut out then because it would've been too cheesy and cringey.
