Did Thor,Loki and co all speak English then, in their world,or being gods and advanced societies they can understand any language in any realm?Was language explained in the original comics or totally ignored.(I am a comic book novice...never read one).This is a sincere question ,I really like to know.Thanks.

Oh,Ok,so It's not really an earth language,rather a language that is understood by everyone,no matter what place or realm or race of creature/god/person.Like the international language of Esperanto but translated into English for the comic(or any earth language)publication.It makes sense now.Thankyou.
