Why is he blonde?

Is anyone else annoyed by the fact that Marvel made Thor blonde? As someone who has a great interest in Norse paganism I was moderately offended they made him a flowered, pretty, tame blonde. This is mostly in the films mind you. I've read some of the comics and I he seems a lot more aggressive and 'vikingish'. Classic Hollywood. Always screwing up. Thor is supposed to be a huge, strong, red bearded man. He's supposed to be a ginger! WITH A FIERY RED BEARD!

Speaking frankly ? No.

You do know that this Thor is not THAT Thor. Jack Kirby imagined him blonde, speaking a form of English , etc.

Nope. Classic Marvel. Hollywood got it right just the way Stand and jack created him, complete with fan reference to Donald Blake.

In your Norse mythology he still is. There is no problem.

You never read the comic books, did you? 

I was going to say the same thing. In the comics, Thor has blonde hair, as does his human alter ego, Dr. Donald Blake.

Laugh while you can, Monkey Boy!
