I heard on the radio today that JB got into an argument with his best friend because he told him that Selena was only with him to boost her career. I know it wasn't his business to tell Justin but I kinda agreed. I love Selena, but honestly she could do better and I seriously doubt she would be with him if he wasn't as popular.

Of course Selena is famous but being his GF makes her MORE famous. I mean 50% of all the news involving her are about her being Bieber's girlfriend. You can't deny that.
shareYeah, I don't really get why she would want to be with someone so immature and tacky... but when it comes down to it, it's just not very important to me. I hope she succeeds in her acting career because I think she has real talent and potential but I think the bieber relationship might be detrimental in the long run. It puts her in the spotlight now but it might make it harder for people to take her seriously later.

Who cares? They're young and (no offense but) stupid. No more young and stupid than any of the rest of us were at their ages but because they are who they are, more in the public eye. Odds are, one day, they'll be this generation's Britney and Justin--"Hey, remember when they were together? That was weird." His music is targeted towards teeny boppers as was her show (although Wizard's seems to have a respectable adult follow too). I'd put them on par, on level of fame.
shareJustin seems to be really in love with her, he's young and in the spotlight and sometimes socially awkward so at times it is cringworthy to watch (like when Selena presented an award that Justin won and he make a stupid joke of introducing himself to her and asking her out). I don't doubt her love, she just seems to be a bit more grounded than he is.

I think she's just doing it to boost her fame; I hear her called "Bieber's girlfriend" more than I hear her called by her name. It's such a shame because she has so much potential and I think he's holding her back. How is she supposed to mature when her EXTREMELY public boyfriend's main audience is teeny-boppers? Just my opinion.
