I remember others say that they tweeted this ? to Greenwald. Only children still have soome sort of test. Also, if every Wizard couple only had one kid, the Wizard population would plummet each generation.

Not necassarily. Even though there can only be on Wizard per family, even if the kids don't keep their powers they'll still have Wizard offspring.
