I'm surprised more people aren't interested in the reunion.

I know the show's been off the air for over a year, but with less than a week away, I'm really surprised this doesn't seem to be getting a lot of people's interest. I'm sure most people (besides the regular DC watchers) don't even know it's airing this coming Friday.

The popularity of WOWP was directly proportional to the popularity of Harry Potter, generally speaking... So, with both HP and WOWP over, the tweens moved onto the next big thing, The Hunger Games trilogy.

Also, the tweens/teens who did grow up with WOWP moved on because they're older now and have more mature interests.

One last explanation is the special looks like a blatant cash grab (coming more than a year after the show went off the air) and a project designed soley to boost Selena Gomez's bank account as well as her ego since she plays double leads in it. If it had been given the WOWP: The Movie, treatment, I think fans would be more excited... Especially, if David Henrie had also agreed to come back as well.

Meh, I'll watch it when it's on or catch a re-run.

Obviously I'm tuning in. But as a hardcore Wizards fan, I feel like the series ended on such a high note with the finale that this reunion is a little unnecessary. I definitely wanted a reunion but not until maybe 10 years later after the cast has matured in their acting roles, especially Selena. And the fact that David skipped out on this makes me feel like this wasn't exactly Selena's idea. But we should still look forward to it because, after all, it's Wizards, still the best sitcom of this generation!

I'm really excited for it, I even rewatched the finale a couple nights ago to refresh my memory! LOL

Unfortunately my cable is going to be out on Friday night, so I will either have to watch it on YouTube or maybe go over to my friend's house to watch it :/

I think this reunion just seems unnecessary. Its only been a year and the plot seems like Selena fan service. Plus, if you think about it, the only person in the family who can do magic is Alex since Justin is not in the reunion and Max lost his powers. Also, the last episode of the show ended on a great note.

Yeah, I think the general consensus, here at least, is this feels blatantly commercial and unnecessary... Like it is NOT for the fans even if the cast and crew insist it is.

I will be tuning in. I'm watching reruns now where Justin turns into a werewolf.

I know it won't come close to the ratings that the finale got, but hopefully it at least does better than the iCarly finale.

Ratings are irrelevant.

There is literally no down side for anybody involved. Everybody has already been paid, Disney gets one more program with Selena to add to the WOWP rotation and Selena gets to pad her original fanbase just in case Spring Breakers doesn't do that well (it's already getting mixed reviews).

I can't believe it's only one freakin hour!

THIS. I would have loved a longer episode (or a MOVIE), not because I think the story should have been given more time, but simply because I wanted more time with the Russos. haha
