Season 4

Caught two of the monster hunting/conscience episodes the other day & reminded how good this show was when it was in its prime/groove. The vampire episodes as a whole were very good (and funny) & it was somewhat annoying to have Julia come back later in what to me was a lame/tacked on fashion, especially since we didn't get a sense of the strong nature of her character.

This return was in S4, which was overall (it had its good points -- I liked Maxine) was disappointing. The show was getting a bit tired, Mason was a tedious character & everyone seemed at times to be going thru the motions. This happens on various shows near the end. I also didn't find the final film that worthwhile. Sheesh. Didn't even have Justin (couldn't just have even a cameo?).
