The only thing I didn't like about Talk To Me was their choice of who played the role of James Brown. He didn't sound like him and wasn't as quick on his feet when he was dancing. He got the split right, but that was about it. Other than that, he seemed like a person impersonating The Godfather just the way people impersonate Elvis Presley. I know the brother was trying, but he could have done better.

He's actually MY godfather...Herbert Rawlings Jr...and he was EXCELLENT!!!!!Sure, there'll never be another James Brown...but I can't think of anyone who could've impersonated him better.

I totally agree with you!when i saw his profile i started laughing!i think the producers and director had realised that and that is why they did not make any close-ups to him
