Another goof! The JB 'Say It Loud' Scene

On the day after the MLK assasination concert which was suppossed to be in Boston not DC (acknowleged in the goofs section), James Brown sings "Say It Loud". But, the King assasination happened in April of '68, but Say It Loud wasnt released until September of '68. Good dramatic affect, but Im suprised that goof wasnt in the "goofs" section.

Maybe he sang it live before it came out as a single?

The James Brown character in Talk To Me also was made up to look like James Brown did in 1965, not 1968. James had a small afro by 1968. He no longer wore a processed "do."
These historical inaccuracies kind of spoiled the film for me too.

He actually sang the song during that concert. The artist can choose to sing a song whenever he or she so desires. The official song release is something of another matter.

I'm not crazy, I've just been in a very bad mood for the last 40 years!
