OMG! It's Paper...IT'S PAPER!!!!!!

This was a very good movie. I really enjoyed it. I have the same issue with this movie as I do with any other movie "based on a true story". What parts are true. I don't really care if hardly any of it is, I just want to know.
I wish they would put a little light somewhere in the corner of the screen. Green when it's totally based on fact. Yellow when it's a version of the truth or embellished in some way. Red when it is total fabrication just for the sake of entertainment.

But the real reason for my post. THE PAPER.

I am sure this movie didn't have a huge budget, and let me strongly repeat, I think it is a very good movie, so don't bother trying to put me down for pointing out something that I thought really cheapened the whole thing and I am sure could have been handled differently without spending more money.

The MLK aftermath riot scenes. I guess someone said, "We don't have much money in the budget to simulate the damages of a riot, so let's just PUT TONS OF 8 1/2 X 11" PAPER ALL OVER THE PLACE".
Where did all this paper come from? Did someone blow up a Kinko's? They didn't even have Kinko's back then.
If you have this movie, or are planning on watching it, look for this. You can get a little chuckle out of it.

THE PAPER.....THE PAPER!!!!!!!!!!

Stores have paper, sales paper, invoices, order forms, flyers. They could have also broken into several offices and opened up the file cabinets.
If you ever go into a Walgreens the first thing you see in a stack of sales papers so the customers can see whats on sale. WOW.

I noticed all the paper everywhere at the beginning of the riot and thought it was pretty weird but they did end up showing some good footage of the riots.

Did you forget there was a newspaper stand right on the corner in front of the WOL building? They show it at least twice in the movie.
