Im sick of this racism bullsh^it......its something else.

Um, the correct term is Prejudice........Racism is a hatred towards all races except your own, not just blacks.....but blacks, Jews, Chinese, Japanese Arabs, Mexicans.......and since we are on the topic of this conversation, your going to sit there and tell me that blacks (not all) are not prejudice against all whites? And dont give me that "Its because all whites hate blacks BullSh^it", because it aint true......and even if it were, in order to be the bigger man, you have to act like the bigger man, and its a shame that MLK is dead, because he would be preaching that sh^it today.

Amen!

Well, yeah...

- except that most people who hate blacks or use the N word ALSO hate all other races besides their own.

So either term applies.

I like myself. (g)

Weird post, but I'll bite. First there is this great thing called a dictionary. Using effective is one thing but abusing it something else. BTW Dictionary.com is considered an abuse and is not really dictionary because it lacks accuracy. It is as useful as say the urban dictionary. Ok if you like subjective definitions.

racism

• n. the belief that all members of each race possesses characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races. • prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on such a belief.

For argument sake it would be true that if someone was able to segment out that only one race actually possessed inferior qualities and all others were equal, you could make the argument that person wasn't per say, practicing racism. However it never works that way. In racist people there is always the superiority and inferiority factor. And there is always the racially charged belief system that extends to why this or that happens on the grand scale of race being the only contributing factor.

Someone can also come across eloquently about why what they say is mere Truth or just Fact. It is possible that it is set in such a way that many wouldn't be able to argue "the logic" of such a position. However this is usually done in an extreme manner that seems plausible with statements like "if we set aside for the moment __________" Blank always equals important contributing factor to the racist epitaph about to be spewed in a long winded fashion to make you set aside the important fact that is never returned to. Once that damning information is set aside by the audience of the racist, the listener is more open to the concept that racist belief is not racism.

It is really a rudimentary debate technique. Which doesn't make the speak or the person less of a racist. In fact a mediocre debater would counter with forcing the racist to concede the important before continuing on and thus completely destroying the argument in the first place, and allowing the important factor(s) to be reintroduced as undisputed fact to rebut everything that has been said. Furthermore the chances of a racist person only having a belief system about only one race has to be somewhere in the order of null. Maybe not completely zero but so close it is not even worth the mention.

You know what---it didn't matter a damn how much black people became the "bigger person" as you put it---that still didn't stop white people all during this country's history from doing whatever the *beep* they wanted to us,like passing laws to keep us from getting jobs, decent housing, segregating us and keep their foot on our necks until about 50 years ago. And yes, a lot of white folks hate blacks because historically white folks could act on their hatred without fear of any reprisal, and that entitlement to do whatever the *beep* they wanted to black folks and get away with it, was simply handed down from generation to white generation like old hand-me-downs. Why the hell do you think so many white people still hate the fact that a black man is the President? Because they were always taught that being white is to be superior to everybody else, and his being President is living proof that white supremacy is what is really bull****, period.
So basically, you don't know what the hell you're talking about.
